SHAOLIN KUNGFU INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Dear Sifu/Instructor,

Our Organization would like to personally invite you/your students to participate in the 2010 Shaolin Kungfu Invitational Tournament (SKIT) held on Sunday March 7th, 2010 at the Phoenix Martial Arts School in Bolton Ontario.

Below are the relevant “Registration Details”:

Pre-registration deadline: Wednesday March 3rd, 2010.

Location: Phoenix Martial Arts (366 Queen Street, Bolton Ontario L7E 4Z7) in our training location in Bolton.

Cost (Before Wednesday March 3rd, 2010) : $30.00 - Forms, Weapons and Sparring $5.00 - 1 or 2 Additional events! $20.00 per team - Group Form division

Cost (AFTER MARCH 3rd, 2010): $30.00 1 or 2 events, $10.00 each additional event $40.00 per team - Group Form division

Additional events include: Horse Stance, Self Defense, Weapons Sparring (Medium(staff), and Short(Sword)).

As every Martial Arts Instructor knows, the heart and future of every school is our children. This tournament has been organized to celebrate the hard work, dedication and skill of all martial arts enthusiasts. The tournament will have traditional hand and weapons forms divisions, sparring, group forms and fun specialty divisions for all competitors. Also, the SKIT tournament is designed to provide martial arts enthusiasts the wonderful opportunity to grow through competition, friendship and mutual respect. In recognition of the all Sifu/Instructors and sponsors involved in making this event a great success, we have also opened up the divisions to competitors 18 years old and up. We hope that by doing this, our young competitors will have an opportunity to see martial arts performed at very high levels by their senior students, assistant instructors and senior instructors alike.

We look forward to celebrating with you, and we hope that our event provides an opportunity to develop new relationships and to rekindle past friendships.
